This policy has been established to ensure the security of our employees, stakeholders, visitors, customers and assets that are essential for the successful and continual growth of our business within DMCC.
The primary purpose of the group security policy is to establish the scope and objective of the group security department and introduce the critical policies that underpin security activities within DMCC.
This policy is applicable to DMCC employees (Permanent & Outsourced), customers, visitors and all applicable stakeholders at DMCC Offices/Units in Almas Tower, One JLT Building, JLT Master Community, Uptown T2 & DMCC Tea & Coffee Centre.
The objective of this policy is to achieve the following within DMCC:
Ensure compliance with all applicable local and international security regulatory and governmental requirements and/or initiatives specifically for the Security and Resilience Management System requirements in line with ISO 28000:2022.
Identify, establish , evaluate & monitor all security related risks by conducting periodical risk assessments with relevant control measures and communicate to relevant stakeholders to reduce all risks to an acceptable level by proactive security measures.
Improving security incident management capabilities at all levels through the development ofappropriate strategies to enhance the business continuity of the organization in line with DMCC strategy.
Effective delivery of security related projects by adopting innovative security technologies/best practices that bring efficiencies to security operations and describes the continuous commitment to provide a secure workplace to employees , assets, stakeholders and other business interests.
Promote Security awareness with all stakeholders through internal and external education initiatives and communication programs to contribute effectively to the protection of DMCC business interests.
Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve security objectives which is measured periodically to monitor the Security and Resilience Management System performance and effectiveness.
Continual improvement on Security and Resilience Management System performance throughout the organization by adopting all applicable national & international security regulatory requirements/standards & DMCC strategy.
DMCC Security in charge will visible uphold the principles of this policy and integrate them throughout the company and will ensure to regularly review the security management performance and policy as necessary. Operational, commercial, engineering, human resources and other functional areas will support the operation of the Security and Resilience Management System.
Each employee has a duty to report any unusual observations, practices or persons that could pose a security risk to DMCC and the community where we operate.
As part of continual improvement, company will review this policy whenever applicable or in case of the acquisition/merger with other organizations /other changes to the business scope of the organization or in the event of a major expansion or serious security incident that merits an immediate review or as necessary requiring remedial action to be taken to maintain its compliance with policy objectives.
