The UAE is recognised as one of the world's most promising gaming markets, with the highest proportion (91%) of adult gamers globally. Smartphone penetration sits above 90%, with nearly three-quarters of gamers playing on mobile, and UAE gamers spend US$95–$115 a year on games, far higher than the global average in other emerging markets.

The UAE gaming market was valued at $484.1 million in 2023 and is projected to reach $754.2 million by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 6.16%. 9 in 10 adults in the UAE play video games, and 23% qualify as frequent players, gaming at least 11 hours per week. 72% of Dubai gamers prefer titles with social features — chat, leaderboards, and co-op modes — reflecting the market's strong engagement levels.
