Corporate Sustainability Assessment

The S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) leads the field in helping companies make the link between sustainability and their business strategies.

Covering around 13,000 companies globally, the CSA is an annual evaluation of a company’s sustainability practices. It enables you to benchmark your company’s performance on a wide range of industry-specific economic, environmental, and social criteria that are relevant to the growing number of sustainability-focused investors and are expected to be financially relevant to your corporate success.

CSA for non-listed companies:

Because private companies and investors face their own set of reporting challenges, S&P Global developed a new CSA option, called “CSA Fundamentals”, for Non-Listed Micro and NanoCap companies to allow these non-listed companies and private equity investors alike to prepare for upcoming sustainability trends and evolving market expectations.

Sustainability Starter pack

Our Sustainability Starter Pack provides a comprehensive solution to help companies measure their greenhouse (GHG) emissions, understand material ESG topics, and report their sustainability performance in line with well-recognized global reporting frameworks and peer disclosure practices.

Based on the information collected through the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), the Company Benchmarking Report (CBR) taps into an unrivaled global knowledge base covering financially relevant criteria across the economic, environmental, and social dimensions.

The CBR offers companies a cost-efficient benchmarking service based on a sophisticated methodology that combines unique company insights and industry-level information and has proven itself over more than 10 years.

Who benefits from this service?

Companies looking for detailed feedback on their Corporate Sustainability Assessment benefit from this service. The CBR provides a relative assessment of your company’s sustainability performance to identify critical competitive strengths and areas for improvement as well as key sustainability challenges and opportunities affecting your company now and in the future. To obtain this report, your company must have completed the S&P Global CSA.
