#myDMCC brings the community together to raise AED 500,000 for Emirates Red Crescent
#myDMCC, the online charity campaign hosted by DMCC Free Zone in celebration of welcoming our 10,000th member company, closed today after successfully raising AED 500,000 for Emirates Red Crescent. During a period of one month, DMCC Free Zone’s 10,000 member companies, and the 85,000 people who live and work here, came together to create one of Dubai’s top trending hashtags by posting more than 10,000 interactions on social media channels including Twitter, Instagram and Youtube with #myDMCC.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, DMCC Executive Chairman, said: “The entire DMCC Free Zone community came together and really made a difference. We wanted to celebrate the milestone of welcoming our 10,000th member by engaging with every person within our community and encouraging them to give back by participating in a truly worthy cause. The journey of #myDMCC definitely does not stop here, this is just the beginning of an inspiring online channel that brings us all together.”
We would like to thank everyone who joined in to make this campaign an immense success. There will be a special presentation to the Emirates Red Crescent on 27 May in Almas Tower. The #myDMCC team will also be nominating ‘#myDMCC superstars’ - individuals and companies that went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the smooth running and successful conclusion of the campaign.
