The Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) tender facility is one of the world’s most important precious stones trading venues, regularly hosting multiple tenders from the industry’s leading producers. Located in Almas Tower, it offers a premier trading environment, thanks to its 41 viewing stations and ability to accommodate up to 200 buyers at one time.
The facility merges world-class technological infrastructure with versatile natural and artificial lighting options, catering to the intricate requirements of the precious stone and pearl industries. The commitment to excellence is evident in every detail, from the meticulously arranged trading spaces to the comprehensive services on offer, which include access to the DDE Vault, CCTV monitoring and assorted technical equipment.
The venue’s atrium and trading halls are also available for hire, providing a remarkable and unique space for events including jewellery launches, diamond and pearl auctions, exhibitions, and private sales events.
In a global first, the DDE has established a Tender Best Practice Forum Code of Conduct, which sets out the key principles for rough and polished diamond tenders and auctions in support of both suppliers and buyers. Membership of the Forum is by invitation only and is extended to DDE members who have conducted a minimum of two tenders in the 12 months prior to the establishment of the Forum.
