Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DMCC joined a virtual briefing call this morning with His Excellency Dr. Ali Obaid Al Dhaheri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the People's Republic of China.
The pair discussed the swift response of the UAE Government to coronavirus (COVID-19), and the effective action it has taken to protect public health across the seven emirates.
Bin Sulayem offered his sympathies and support for those affected by the outbreak of COVID-19 in China, and commended the response of the Chinese Government to tackle the virus.
Bin Sulayem also congratulated His Excellency, and his Beijing-based team, for its ongoing work to strengthen ties between the UAE and China.
His Excellency was briefed on DMCC’s strategy to support business during challenging period, and the impact of the recently launched DMCC Business Support Package.
The strategic relationship between the UAE and China was discussed. Both committed to work together closer than ever before in the weeks and months ahead to strengthen the UAE-China bilateral relationship, attract Chinese businesses to the UAE, and support the presence of UAE business in China.
With a strong foundation of mutual respect and trust, both agree ties between the UAE and China will continue to flourish.
